Marketing Manager

Summary: The Marketing Manager executes the strategic vision and tactical components of AKDO’s marketing efforts, ensuring the day-to-day implementation of communication campaigns, digital presence, event planning, and sales support tools. This individual collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to maintain brand standards, promote products, and elevate customer experience under the guidance of the Director of Product Development and Marketing.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily workflow and schedule of the Marketing team.
  • Provides performance feedback, guidance, and training for team members.
  • Ensures adherence to timelines, quality, and project objectives in campaign execution.
  • Coordinates with external agencies and freelancers as directed by the Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Marketing and Brand Management

  • Execute brand-aligned marketing plans and campaigns under the strategic direction of the Director.
  • Oversee development and distribution of marketing content across digital and print platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and design across all channels and materials.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar, coordinating internal and external deliverables.

Digital Marketing and Content Management

  • Oversee the creation and publishing of content for social media, email, and blog platforms.
  • Manage website updates and optimize content for SEO and user engagement.
  • Monitor trends, analytics, and campaign performance to support decision-making.
  • Post new product updates and announcements in a timely and accurate manner.

Event Coordination and Campaign Support

  • Plan and support tradeshow, industry, and partner events aligned with marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and promotional efforts.
  • Assist in content and logistical planning for internal and external marketing activations.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Track marketing KPIs and support regular performance reporting to the Director.
  • Leverage analytics tools to measure effectiveness of campaigns and inform improvements.
  • Prepare presentations and insights to summarize marketing activity outcomes.

Collaborative Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Development to align marketing tools and collateral.
  • Support Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams in product-related messaging and tools.
  • Liaise with agencies, vendors, and creative professionals as needed for execution.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience

  • 5-8 years’ experience in Marketing, preferably within design, architecture, or interiors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CMS, CRM, and social media platforms.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong visual and design sensibility; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
