This position assists the Market Manager by contributing&nbsp;to on-the-ground operations and supporting a team of Field Specialists to deliver effective&nbsp;program activity in a highly regulated industry (tobacco/nicotine). The ideal candidate excels in&nbsp;leadership, communication, and possesses a strong ability to motivate and guide teams in a&nbsp;dynamic convenience store environment.&nbsp;The Assistant Manager will serve as a daily operational leader, ensuring Field Specialists are&nbsp;prepared, supported, and performing at their best. This includes conducting site visits, providing&nbsp;real-time coaching, and addressing challenges as they arise to maintain program standards and&nbsp;compliance. They will assist with training execution, performance monitoring, and quality<br>assurance, ensuring every activation meets brand and regulatory expectations. This role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset to keep operations running smoothly across multiple locations.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>● Support and Reporting: Partner with the Market Manager to execute retail strategies and&nbsp;provide comprehensive reports on field activities and performance metrics<br>● Retail Communication and Relations: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with&nbsp;retail partners to ensure smooth program operations, addressing and resolving issues&nbsp;with professionalism.<br>● Leadership and Development: Guide and develop Field Specialists by providing&nbsp;essential tools and knowledge. Assisting with regular training sessions and ongoing&nbsp;support.<br>● Program Optimization: Collect and analyze on-site feedback to refine program tactics,&nbsp;while implementing effective solutions to boost program efficiency.<br>● Inventory Oversight: Aide in distribution and tracking of program materials and assets,&nbsp;ensuring timely communication of issues and escalation as needed.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br>● 1-3 years of experience in field marketing, brand activation, retail engagement, or similar&nbsp;roles.<br>● Proven supervisory experience with a strong focus on team development and coaching.</p> <p>● Solid understanding of compliance requirements in regulated industries and the ability to enforce guidelines consistently.<br>● Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.<br>● Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and articulate detailed product information.<br>● Strong communication skills with a talent for building meaningful relationships.<br>● Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.<br>● Must be 25+ years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.<br>● In-market travel required up to a 40-mile radius.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><br>We seek a leader who thrives on being actively involved in every facet of the retail program.
