We are seeking a highly strategic, execution-focused, and data-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing organization and drive the next phase of our growth. This executive leadership role will own the end-to-end marketing function, including acquisition, retention, brand, lifecycle, partnerships, and communications. The CMO will define and execute the company’s marketing vision, ensuring Liberty Home Guard continues its rapid trajectory while maintaining efficiency, profitability, and compliance in a regulated environment.

As a key member of the executive team, you will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Product leadership to deliver measurable, sustainable growth while building a durable and trusted national brand.

Responsibilities

● Define and lead the company’s comprehensive marketing strategy across all channels, including paid search/social, SEO, affiliates, comparison sites, email/SMS, TV, OTT (CTV), and direct mail, ensuring CAC/LTV efficiency, revenue growth, and brand awareness targets are achieved.

● Own and scale the company’s full-funnel growth engine, balancing short-term performance with long-term brand equity and market positioning.

● Build and oversee lead-generation systems, lead scoring, and routing strategies; align closely with Sales and Call Center leadership to maximize conversion and revenue outcomes.

● Establish and lead lifecycle marketing strategy across onboarding, renewal, cross-sell, upsell, and churn reduction; partner with Retentions and Customer Care to improve customer lifetime value.

● Drive a culture of experimentation across pricing, packaging, deductibles, offers, and funnel optimization to maximize growth and profitability in partnership with Finance.

● Own and evolve Liberty Home Guard’s brand positioning, messaging, and creative strategy, ensuring consistent, high-impact, and compliant communication across all touchpoints.

● Oversee PR, communications, social listening, reputation management, and crisis response to strengthen brand trust and market presence.

● Own and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards tracking CAC, LTV, payback period, ROAS by channel and state, renewal rates, NPS, and claim-related churn; leverage insights to inform executive decision-making.

● Develop and scale strategic partnerships with affiliates, realtors, property managers, contractors, OEMs, and retailers; lead co-branded campaigns and revenue-generating initiatives.

● Ensure all marketing and communication initiatives comply with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, TSR, and state-specific insurance regulations in close partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.

● Implement and oversee compliant review-generation and reputation programs across platforms (BBB, Google, Trustpilot, etc.) to strengthen credibility and trust indicators.

● Lead investment strategy and budget allocation across a significant marketing P&L, ensuring efficient growth and strong return on investment.

● Oversee the strategy, design, and optimization of landing pages, quote flows, and conversion funnels to maximize lead quality and conversion rates.

● Partner closely with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with company objectives, financial targets, and long-term growth plans.

● Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, multi-disciplinary marketing organization across growth, brand, lifecycle, analytics, and creative functions.

● Present marketing strategy, performance, and insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders, including board-level audiences as needed.

● Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

● 8+ years of marketing experience in high-growth, performance-driven environments, including significant executive leadership experience building and scaling teams.

● Proven success leading end-to-end marketing organizations across acquisition, brand, and lifecycle in regulated or complex industries (insurance, home services, fintech, or similar).

● Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing $15M+ annual media budgets with strong CAC/LTV performance and disciplined payback periods.

● Deep expertise in modern marketing measurement and attribution, including multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling (MMM).

● Strong understanding of full-funnel metric
