Social Media Marketing Associate

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a creative, driven, and digitally savvy Social Media Marketing Associate to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will be the voice of Luzia and Sohum Living across social platforms — creating compelling content, engaging with our community, and helping drive product sales through organic and paid social channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation & Scheduling
- Plan, create, and publish engaging social content (photos, Reels, Stories, TikToks, carousels) for both Luzia and Sohum Living across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest
- Write compelling captions, product descriptions, and calls-to-action tailored to each platform and audience
- Maintain a consistent content calendar that aligns with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Source and edit lifestyle imagery and short-form video content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express
Product Promotion & Sales Conversion
- Develop social-first product storytelling that highlights the quality, materials, and lifestyle appeal of towels, bags, and accessories from both stores
- Create shoppable content and coordinate product tagging on Instagram and TikTok Shop to drive direct-to-consumer sales
- Support email marketing campaigns with social-aligned messaging and cross-promotional content
- Monitor and report on link-in-bio clicks, story swipe-ups, and social-driven traffic to luziastore.com and sohumliving.com
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, DMs, and brand mentions in a timely and on-brand manner across all platforms
- Identify and engage with influencer and UGC creator partnerships to expand brand reach
- Monitor brand hashtags and competitor activity to surface trends and community insights
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key social metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, click-through rate) and compile weekly performance reports
- Use platform analytics and tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok Ads Manager to inform content decisions
- A/B test content formats, posting times, and messaging to continuously improve results
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts (professional, internship, or personal brand experience all considered)
- Strong written communication skills with a knack for writing engaging, on-brand copy
- Proficiency with major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
- Experience with Shopify or e-commerce social selling (Instagram Shopping, TikTok Shop)
- Familiarity with paid social advertising on Meta and TikTok
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Later, Hootsuite, or Buffer
- Passion for home goods, wellness, sustainable products, or lifestyle brands
- Basic photo styling or flat-lay photography skills
