OnPlace

Vice President, OnSpire

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Hybrid, Houston, TX or Austin, TX

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer, OnSpire

Business Unit: OnSpire (Full-Service Real Estate Marketing Agency)

About OnSpire

OnSpire is the full-service marketing agency within OnPlace Collective, serving master-planned community developers and homebuilders across Texas, Florida and beyond. The VP of OnSpire helps lead an integrated team across creative, strategy, fractional marketing and digital disciplines, delivering the work that builds communities from Raw Land to Residents.

Position Summary

The Vice President of OnSpire is the CMO's right hand, a senior operator and strategic partner who keeps the business running at full capacity while the CMO focuses on client growth, brand vision and executive leadership. This role supports the day-to-day rhythm of the business and real estate clients: project delivery, team performance, systems and cross-functional coordination across OnPlace Collective.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-output environment, can hold a team accountable without losing their trust, and is as comfortable building a workflow in ClickUp as they are creating and presenting real estate strategy to a client. The VP does not need to be the loudest voice in the room, but they need to be a reliable one.

Reporting and Scope

  • Reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of OnSpire.
  • Works in close coordination with the OnPlace Collective COO and the SVPs of OnVie and OnMenity.
  • Manages direct reports related to the fractional marketing platform.
  • Serves as the internal escalation point for project, staffing and delivery issues.
  • Steps into senior client-facing situations as needed, including QBRs, onboarding and escalation calls.

Key Responsibilities

Agency Operations and Delivery

  • Own the fractional marketing day-to-day and the operating rhythm with the creative and digital agency to ensure resourcing and delivery timelines across the various portfolios.
  • Manage project management infrastructure in ClickUp, ensuring all active work is tracked, staffed and on schedule.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks before they affect client deliverables or team morale.
  • Partner with the CMO to maintain and evolve the staffing model, balancing utilization, quality and profitability.
  • Lead capacity planning and flag resourcing gaps or surpluses to the CMO on a rolling basis.

Team Leadership and Culture

  • Support the CMO in leading real estate strategy, the fractional marketing team and digital disciplines with clarity, consistency and genuine investment in their growth.
  • Build a culture of accountability and craft, one where high standards and strong relationships coexist.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, deliver honest feedback and support professional development across the team.
  • Partner with the CMO on performance reviews, career pathing and retention of key talent.
  • Represent the agency's values internally: how we work is as important as what we produce.

Client Partnership

  • Serve as a senior relationship owner on select client accounts, providing strategic oversight and executive presence.
  • Support new business pitches and client onboarding in coordination with the CMO.
  • Partner with account leads to ensure client satisfaction, renewal readiness and proactive communication.
  • Step in as the client-facing escalation point when issues require senior resolution.

Systems, Tools and AI Integration

  • Oversee the agency's tooling stack, including ClickUp, HubSpot, the DAM platform and AI-enabled workflows, ensuring systems support efficient, high-quality delivery.
  • Champion AI adoption in the right areas: identify where automation and AI tooling can improve speed, quality and margin without compromising craft.
  • Work with the CMO and digital leadership to ensure HubSpot and performance data flows are clean, integrated and actionable.
  • Document processes, build playbooks and reduce single points of failure across the agency.

Financial and Reporting Oversight

  • Support the CMO in managing the OnSpire P&L, including monitoring project margins, staffing costs and client billing.
  • Maintain visibility into agency financial performance and flag variances early.
  • Assist with monthly financial reviews and quarterly business reviews with the CEO of OnPlace Collective.
  • Ensure time tracking, project scoping and billing processes are accurate and consistently followed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support OnPlace Collective leadership to align programming and organizational structure and grow the advantages of the collective businesses for blended results and success.
  • Align and support leadership on the Raw Land to Residents platform and business objectives.

Success Metrics

Performance in this role is evaluated annually in partnership with the CMO. Core categories include:

  • Delivery: on-time project completion rates, reduction of delivery escalations and client satisfaction scores across the portfolio.
  • Operations: system adoption and process compliance across the team; reduction in workflow gaps and resourcing surprises.
  • Team: retention of direct reports, engagement and bench strength for key roles.
  • Financial: project margin accuracy, billing accuracy and support for the OnSpire 20-25% net margin target.
  • Strategic: progress on AI integration, cross-subsidiary collaboration and agency scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • Real estate experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, agency operations, real estate or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a multi-disciplinary creative or marketing team in a fast-paced, client-service environment.
  • Strong operational instincts. You build systems, close loops and make the work easier for everyone around you.
  • Experience owning or co-owning client relationships at a senior level, including QBRs and escalation management.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms (ClickUp, Asana or equivalent) and a track record of improving team delivery workflows.
  • Clear, direct communicator with clients, the team and the CMO.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate, homebuilding or master-planned community marketing.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, DAM platforms and AI-assisted marketing workflows.
  • Experience managing agency P&L or working closely with a business unit financial model.
  • Background that spans both creative and operational disciplines. You understand what great work looks like and what it takes to deliver it consistently.
