As a Digital Marketing Strategist & Client Success Manager, you'll do far more than manage accounts. Digital Marketing Strategist & Client Success Manager Job Description
The Digital Marketing Strategist & Client Success Manager is a key member of our Marketing team. Day to day, you’ll develop, manage, and execute digital marketing strategies across SEO, social media, content, websites, and digital campaigns while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
This role is ideal for a strategic, hands on marketing professional who thrives in a fast paced agency environment, enjoys solving complex marketing challenges, and can confidently translate data and strategy into measurable results. You’ll be responsible for guiding client direction, overseeing execution, and ensuring all marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Actively execute marketing work across SEO, content, social media, and website optimization in addition to strategy and client leadership
- Develop digital marketing strategies across SEO, social media, content, and website optimization
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries and marketing channels
- Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients, helping align marketing initiatives with business goals and long-term success
- Serve as the primary client contact for strategy, updates, reporting, and performance discussions
- Lead ongoing SEO efforts including content strategy, on-page optimization, and performance improvements
- Manage social media strategy, content planning, and campaign execution across multiple platforms
- Oversee website content updates and ensure alignment with SEO and conversion goals
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, content, development) to execute campaigns
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and priorities to ensure work is completed on schedule and aligned with client goals
- Manage multiple client accounts and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
- Analyze campaign performance and provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Optimize campaign performance across SEO, social, and web channels to improve traffic, engagement, conversions, and lead generation
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in digital marketing
- Strong experience in SEO, content strategy, and/or social media marketing
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts or marketing projects simultaneously
- Experience analyzing performance data and turning insights into actionable strategy
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop clear solutions
- Confident, professional client communication skills with the ability to lead conversations and present recommendations clearly
- Ability to act as a client advocate while balancing business goals and strategic direction
- Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to keep campaigns, deliverables, and timelines on track
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues early and take ownership of solutions
- We value self-starters who can identify opportunities, make recommendations, and take ownership of driving results
Bonus Experience
- Google Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio, or similar reporting platforms
- SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.)
- WordPress or other content management systems (CMS)
- HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Experience with online reputation management, review generation, and local listing management
- Social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout, Buffer, etc.)
- Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, or similar tools
- Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools
- Experience using AI tools to support marketing strategy, content development, research, and workflow efficiency
