Yonder Media Mobile, Inc. (YMM) is a Delaware corporation founded in 2018, operating as "The House of YO" with 60+ team members across the USA, Mexico, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, and Spain. YMM is organized into three product-driven business units:

  • Global YO: A borderless connectivity platform offering eSIM data, VoIP, and travel-related rewards globally.
  • YO Mobile (USA & Mexico): A full-service MVNO providing borderless localized cellular service and content in the US and Mexico.
  • YO.DOA: The technical platform supplier providing backbone infrastructure to internal and external connectivity partners.

Currently, we are looking for a VP of Marketing who will serve as the senior marketing leader across YMM's business units, with direct ownership of marketing strategy, execution, and team-building for Global YO and YO Mobile (US and Mexico).

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and own the marketing strategy for Global YO and YO Mobile (US and Mexico), aligned to company revenue and growth objectives.
  • Lead performance marketing across paid channels (Google, Meta, TikTok) with a focus on ROI and efficient customer acquisition.
  • Define and own the lifecycle marketing and customer communications strategy, building toward consistent engagement that drives retention and revenue.
  • Drive omnichannel marketing execution, including digital campaigns and offline activations where appropriate (particularly in the US and Mexico markets).
  • Use data to inform every decision—rigorously analyze campaign performance, conversion funnels, and customer behavior to optimize spend and strategy.

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Manage the selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance of external marketing and creative agencies.
  • Evaluate whether to bring Global YO's marketing fully in-house, maintain an agency model, or pursue a hybrid approach—and execute on that decision.
  • Hold agencies accountable to clear KPIs, budgets, and timelines.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Build the internal marketing team from the ground up, hiring for roles including (but not limited to) copywriting, lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, and creative.
  • Foster a high-performance, data-driven culture within the marketing organization.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, providing clear goals and regular feedback.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • EVP of Experience & Growth: Collaborate closely on marketing technology, Braze strategy, growth initiatives, and product-marketing alignment. Leverage their expertise while taking ownership of marketing execution.
  • Product & Engineering: Coordinate on product launches, feature marketing, and user experience improvements that impact acquisition and retention.
  • Finance: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring spend is accountable and tied to measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Significant experience in marketing leadership, including hands‑on management of teams, agencies, and multi‑channel strategy. Typically 5+ years in progressive marketing roles, though we prioritize demonstrated capability over tenure.
  • Proven track record in performance marketing and customer acquisition across paid digital channels (Google, Meta, TikTok).
  • Demonstrated ability to build marketing teams and functions, whether at a startup, scale‑up, or within a new business unit.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive marketing decisions and optimize spend.
  • Experience managing external agencies, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
  • Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) required. Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment where you'll need to be both strategic and hands‑on.

Preferred

  • Experience in telecom, connectivity, travel tech, or mobile/app‑based businesses. Familiarity with the eSIM/MVNO space is a strong plus.
  • Experience marketing to multicultural or cross-border audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience with lifecycle/CRM marketing platforms (Braze, Iterable, CleverTap, or similar) is a plus.
