The Vice President of Growth and Development (VP of Growth and Development) will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for our ambulance services. Working in close collaboration with the Chief Operations Officer, Vice President of Operations, and Regional Presidents, the VP of Growth and Development will oversee the creation and execution of marketing strategies to drive ambulance referrals, improve brand awareness, increase service contract growth while assuring customer engagement, satisfaction, and service. This position will also be responsible for aligning marketing objectives with business goals and ensuring consistent execution across all markets. The VP of Growth and Development will track and monitor marketing performance, annual budget transport forecasts, and customer-centric training initiatives in concert with operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop, implement, and oversee strategic marketing plans in coordination with the Chief Operations Officer, Vice President of Operations, and Regional Presidents for each market.
- Align marketing strategies with the company's overall business goals to drive growth and enhance service offerings.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure performance metrics and objectives are met.
- Annual Budget & Transport Forecasting:
- Lead the development of the annual marketing budget and transport forecast in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Work to ensure the timely execution of marketing initiatives within budget, making adjustments as necessary to meet market demands.
- Track and monitor progress against the annual transport forecast and adjust strategies to meet goals.
- Customer Acquisition & Contract Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building relationships with potential customers, including hospitals, hospital systems, municipal governments, insurance companies, and other organizations in need of ambulance services.
- Work closely with corporate VP of Marketing and Communications to prepare request for proposals (RFPs) for new business.
- Present and negotiate service contracts with prospective customers to secure new business and expand market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery to new clients.
- Customer-Centric Marketing and Operations:
- Coordinate with local marketing staff to grow and maintain business while ensuring alignment with the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Promote a customer-first approach across all departments to enhance the quality and efficiency of ambulance services.
- Work closely with operations and communication centers to monitor service quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports to executive leadership on marketing performance, budget status, and progress toward strategic volume goals.
- Analyze marketing ROI and make recommendations for improvements.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, finance, and training, to align marketing efforts with operational goals.
- Work with VP of Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all marketing platforms and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Experience in the healthcare, transportation, or emergency services industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, budget management, and forecasting.
- Proven track record in business development, contract negotiation, and customer acquisition.
