SUMMARY:
AEW seeks a Vice President of Digital Strategy to develop and oversee its social media and digital marketing strategy. This role is highly collaborative and will work across the organization with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and measure success. It will require creativity, strategic planning, financial acumen, strategic analysis, and influencer management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to raise the AEW’s profile and enhance audience engagement and commerce opportunities through its content and programming.
- Lead and coordinate digital product initiatives, such as website redesigns and the creation of new web features, XR experiences, and mobile applications, in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ideate and execute a dynamic digital content strategy for AEW by crafting engaging narratives and digital engagement opportunities in close collaboration with talent, sponsors, media partners, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the successful execution of AEW’s digital content strategy, including web content, social media campaigns, video production, and interactive experiences, focusing on storytelling and brand reinforcement.
- Own all brand and company social media channels globally (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, and LinkedIn) while supporting additional global channels in targeted international markets.
- Protect the AEW brand—hold yourself and all global stakeholders accountable for adhering to brand standards, guidelines, and rules of engagement.
- Mentor and supervise digital/social media teams, as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Editing experience with applications such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe is considered a plus.
- A minimum of 6+ years of relevant marketing and communications experience in a complex consumer-facing organization.
- Strong experience in developing multifaceted content that has led to demonstrable business growth.
- Highly detail-oriented with superb organizational and time management skills.
- Enthusiasm regarding collaboration with other departments within the company.
- Able to prioritize and delegate effectively.
- Strategic problem-solver.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Apple Keynote.
- Must be able to accommodate off-hours global calls and the real-time nature of social media.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
- Opportunity to work remotely.
- Some travel required (up to 40%).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000
