Title: Brand Marketing Manager
Location: Remote
Pay: $60 - $80 / hour
W2 Contract Duration: 6 months (Likely to extend)
Events PMM Role Overview: The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for company events, including conferences, webinars, and workshops. This involves leveraging product messaging and positioning to attract target audiences and achieve event objectives. The role requires close collaboration with technical teams, PMM, and other marketing functions to ensure successful event execution and ROI measurement. Minimal summer travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to define event goals, target audience, and key messaging aligned with the overall product marketing strategy.
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans for each event, including pre-event promotion, on-site activation, and post-event follow-up.
- Create compelling event narratives and value propositions that resonate with potential attendees.
Core PMM, Content Creation, and Marketing Execution:
- Develop presentations articulating event value propositions, strategies, and supporting details for internal executive and non-executive audiences.
- Drive cross-channel PMM campaigns to deliver product and program objectives tied to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create event landing pages, registration forms, email campaigns, social media content, and other marketing materials to promote events.
- Manage event branding and messaging across all channels to maintain consistency.
- Collaborate with content marketing teams to produce event-related blog posts, articles, and supporting collateral.
On-Site Event Support:
- Collaborate with event and technical teams to plan on-site logistics, including speaker presentations, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor event metrics and adjust strategies to optimize attendee engagement.
Post-Event Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze event data to measure success against key metrics, such as registrations, attendance, ROI, and feedback.
- Develop post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future events.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in PMM, including campaign development, event management, campaign/event measurement, messaging, content marketing, and audience/market research.
- Strong project management skills, including organizational abilities, proficiency in PowerPoint, and experience in event attendance and management.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage ambiguity.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with global stakeholders, with a focus on international aspects.
- Good understanding of the social media landscape and content strategies for technical products.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
