Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will support the development and execution of the company’s demand generation strategy to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and foster client engagement. This role will work closely with the sales and marketing teams, creating and implementing marketing campaigns that align with the company’s objectives of generating new opportunities and enhancing the customer journey. The Marketing Coordinator will manage multiple marketing channels, track key performance metrics, and continuously optimize marketing efforts to improve lead quality and support overall revenue goals.This role will interface heavily with our graphic designer, sales staff, engineering and with clients from time to time.This person will also assist with creating presentations in Power Point, trade shows, marketing analytics and more.
This is typically a back-office position but will occasionally be customer-facing via trade show attendance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative in this role.
Job Description
Key Duties
- Collaborate with marketing consultants.
- Plan, develop, and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, digital ads, etc.) to generate high-quality leads. Optimize campaigns to support regional sales goals and engage priority customer segments.
- Collaborate with the graphic designer and sales team to create compelling content, including case studies, brochures, product sheets, blog posts, and email newsletters. Ensure that all content aligns with brand messaging and engages the target audience.
- Lead the execution and management of marketing campaigns, including tracking schedules, coordinating resources, and maintaining project deadlines. Regularly assess campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with sales to manage lead handoffs and nurture leads through email marketing, ensuring a seamless transition from marketing-qualified to sales-qualified leads. Implement lead-nurturing workflows to maximize conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze marketing KPIs (such as lead generation, click-through rates, conversion rates) and provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to the sales and executive team. Use insights to refine and improve marketing tactics.
- Manage the company’s social media accounts and website content updates. Collaborate on the SEO strategy to enhance visibility and drive organic traffic, aligning content with targeted keywords and industry trends.
- Support the planning, execution and attend trade shows, webinars, and virtual events. Coordinate logistics, prepare promotional materials, and manage follow-up activities to ensure leads generated at events are captured and nurtured.
- Develop marketing materials and presentations to equip the sales team with up-to-date resources. Create customized content and messaging to support sales pitches, product launches, and client presentations.
- Periodically review, edit and improve the client website copywriting.
- Assist with copywriting of sales cover letters, (local, state and federal) proposals, bids, marketing material, etc.
- Create marketing collateral as needed.
- Perform website updates as needed.
- Other clerical duties as required.

- Assist the sales manager and sales team as needed with email communication copyright and editing.
- Assist as a consultant to our graphic designer.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism or Marketing.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on B2B or industrial products. Experience in demand generation and digital marketing is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, lead generation, and lead-nurturing strategies.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM tool.
- Solid copywriting and content creation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make recommendations.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and social media management.
- Advanced skill and ability to organize and coordinate multiple jobs, tasks and assignments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationship with other employees.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and accurately perform daily job duties.
