Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Associate Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of omnichannel marketing strategies designed to elevate Sightglass Coffee’s brand presence, engage new and existing customers, and drive revenue growth across channels. This individual will play a key role in building brand awareness, managing campaigns, and collaborating across teams to meet business objectives. A combination of creativity, leadership, and attention to detail will be critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, brand storytelling, and works well with cross functional teams. You thrive in a dynamic, environment and enjoy bringing campaigns to life across diverse platforms.
This is a hybrid position located in the San Francisco or Los Angeles market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies that support Sightglass' growth across retail, eCommerce, and wholesale channels. Lead integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer loyalty, and conversion.
- Lead the creation of cross-channel marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive brand messaging that spans social media, email marketing, digital advertising, retail promotions, and more. Leverage data and customer insights to optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
- Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely and on-budget execution. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, and Operations to drive brand initiatives forward.
- With the VP of marketing, oversee the brand’s social media presence, crafting an engaging strategy that enhances Sightglass' reach and brand voice. Work alongside the marketing team to produce visually compelling content that aligns with our brand ethos and resonates with diverse audiences.
- Develop and maintain an annual marketing calendar that includes both short-term promotions and long-term brand initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution across all channels.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure marketing performance across channels. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to continuously optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
- In partnership with the VP of Marketing, develop meaningful charitable and philanthropic initiatives that align with Sightglass' brand values, fostering community involvement and demonstrating our commitment to social good.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- 2-3 years of marketing or communications experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within retail, CPG, or food service.
- A strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, including retail, eCommerce, and wholesale strategies.
- Proven ability to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple touchpoints (social media, digital ads, email, in-store promotions, etc.).
- Expertise in brand storytelling, with a strong ability to craft compelling messaging that resonates with diverse consumer segments.
- Comfortable using marketing analytics tools to derive insights and optimize campaigns (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you love crafting stories that connect with people.
- Experience in project management, including budget oversight and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with marketing trends and emerging technologies.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to maneuver effectively around the San Francisco or Los Angeles office location, including up and down stairs.
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for computer operation
- Ability to sit; talk on phone, for long periods of time
