Based in Bothell, Washington, you’ll oversee a high-performing team of 40, reporting directly to the President, as you shape strategies that empower municipalities, engineers, and distributors across North America.

Responsibilities - Strategic Market Positioning
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies, pricing, and product offerings.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing strategies, ensuring they align with sales initiatives and support revenue growth.
- Lead and Develop the Sales & Marketing Teams
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Director of Marketing, Regional Sales Managers, and Inside Sales Manager, ensuring alignment of strategies and objectives.
- Continually assess and optimize team structure, staffing levels, and processes for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, municipalities, and distributors.
- Serve as the primary liaison for key customers, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Sales Performance & Market Intelligence
- Track and analyze sales data, generating forecasts and insights to inform decision-making.
- Provide actionable market insights to the executive team, influencing product development and pricing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (production, purchasing, engineering) to resolve customer issues and optimize sales processes.
- Drive collaboration between the sales and marketing teams to align objectives and maximize impact on the market.
- Travel & Client Engagement
- Oversee more than 50% of travel activities related to external sales, distributor relations, and customer visits, ensuring continuous engagement with the market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and revenue.
- 10+ years of leadership experience, including executive management roles, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Experience in manufacturing and distribution environments, with a strong understanding of operational processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the waterworks industry, including key stakeholders, products, and market trends.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed established targets.
Compensation: $185,00 - $250,000
