Position Summary:Lilla P is seeking an experienced and driven E-commerce & Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our e-commerce platform, LillaP.com, and support the administration of our B2B portal. This role drives customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through innovative digital marketing strategies and efficient website management.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative thinking, technical aptitude, and data-driven decision-making. They will oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid media, and affiliate programs while ensuring a seamless, cohesive customer journey. Additionally, this leader will collaborate with technical teams to ensure that all system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades align with business goals and user experience standards.
While technical teams will implement the work, the E-commerce & Digital Marketing Manager will act as the liaison between business needs and technical execution, monitoring project progress, verifying outcomes, and ensuring system functionality supports the company's goals.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position manages two direct reports—a graphic designer and an e-commerce customer service associate/social media coordinator—and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, IT, creative, and operations, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition- Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and customer retention across key channels:
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Paid media (Google Ads, paid social, programmatic)
Email and SMS marketing
Affiliate programs and retargeting campaigns
Social media and loyalty/rewards initiatives
- Leverage customer insights and analytics to implement personalized marketing strategies that improve engagement and lifetime value (LTV).
- Track, measure, and optimize campaign performance against key metrics, including CPA, CPC, ROAS, and conversion rates.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, including emerging platforms like TikTok Ads, AI-driven marketing tools, and programmatic advertising.
- Experiment with A/B and multivariate testing to refine creative, targeting, and channel performance.
E-commerce Operations- Oversee the daily management and optimization of the e-commerce website, including seasonal updates, content management, and merchandising.
- Ensure that item data from Netsuite propagates accurately to Shopify and the custom B2B portal, maintaining a focus on data integrity and consistency.
- Partner with technical teams (onshore and offshore) to implement website enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting. Monitor implementation progress and validate results against business requirements.
- Manage product launches, promotions, markdowns, and inventory reserves in alignment with the marketing calendar.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience for both retail and B2B platforms, aligning website functionality with customer expectations and company objectives.
Analytics & Reporting- Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards to monitor KPIs across digital marketing and e-commerce channels.
- Conduct in-depth performance analysis, providing actionable insights to improve customer acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Lead weekly business review meetings, sharing performance updates and optimization strategies with internal teams and leadership.
- Use forecasting and predictive modeling to set realistic sales and marketing goals.
Technical Collaboration- Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Monitor progress on technical projects, including website updates, integrations, and new feature rollouts, ensuring they meet business objectives and user experience standards.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate technical work and identify any gaps or refinements needed.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of systems like Shopify, Netsuite, and custom B2B platforms to provide clear guidance and effective oversight.
Team Leadership- Manage two direct reports, providing mentorship, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and project timelines for team members.
- Foster collaboration within the team and across departments to achieve shared goals.
Creative Strategy & Execution- Oversee the production and deployment of creative assets for email campaigns, advertisements, and the e-commerce platform.
- Develop a marketing calendar to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Coordinate photoshoots, managing pre- and post-production workflows to ensure high-quality visuals.
- Write and review copy for emails, product pages, and digital ads, ensuring a cohesive brand voice.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably with high-traffic websites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, e-commerce operations, and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with tools like Netsuite, Shopify, and Klaviyo, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to implement system changes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms to drive insights and decisions.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling marketing copy and build cross-functional relationships.
- Familiarity with tools like Basecamp, Jira, and Photoshop is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CMS platforms for troubleshooting purposes.
