Reports to: President of Destination Homes
Primary Duties
- Develop and ensure implementation of strategic sales plan for both online and in-community experience
- Develop and ensure implementation of a strategic marketing plan for the company to ensure adequate lead generation including all marketing campaigns, digital marketing, advertising, promotions and Realtor networking
- Hire, train and mentor in all positions in the sales and marketing departments
- Participate in the annual business planning process, including sales projections
- Review, negotiate, understand, and approve all real estate purchase contracts
- Create incentive programs and pricing strategies for each community
- Prepare sales and marketing budgets and monitor against actual performance
- Monitor, analyze and regularly report on market trends and competitor products, pricing, incentives and promotions, and provide recommendations
- Monitor sales and marketing performance metrics; regularly report and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with all other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with overall business strategies
- Monitor and track industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in sales and marketing
- Support and promote Destination Homes’ mission statement, vision, and core values
- All other duties as assigned
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or an industry-relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Maintain an active real estate broker’s license in the state of Utah.
- 10+ years’ experience in sales & marketing within the homebuilding industry
- Interpersonal skills with an executive presence
- Leadership skills that are positive, high energy and results-oriented
- Analytical skills
Physical Requirements
- This position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs in/around construction site, apartment homes, models, and properties
- This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (to include but limited to, rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet), around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulates
- Must have the ability to read and comprehend large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 60 lbs. independently
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about office setting
