Position Overview
The Global Brand Marketing Manager works closely with the VP of Global Brand Marketing to shape the global marketing strategy, manage the marketing calendar, and oversee go-to-market execution.
This includes leading the go-to-market process, collaborating cross-functionally to create cohesive, integrated marketing plans that drive growth and align with the overall brand strategy.
This role is pivotal in unifying how the brand shows up and establishing a robust working process to develop our go-to-market plans. This position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a love for learning science, the professional stylist universe and its strategic role in the K18 community.
Responsibilities - Marketing Calendar and brand strategy
- Work closely with VP, Global Brand Marketing to calendarize all innovation and commercial moments into a cohesive and strategic plan that drives the brand's key objectives
- Own all documents related to the tracking of the marketing calendar, managing cross functional communication and alignment
- Go To Market
- Oversee the GTM process for all marketing activities including campaign ideation, timeline management and cross functional alignment
- Develop and brief creative partners on campaigns and work closely with cross functional partners to support the briefing of activation assets
- Maintain all go to market tracking documents including but not limited to asset checklists, timelines, overview presentations and recaps
- Lead campaign post mortems, gathering insights to impact future campaign development
- Work closely with partners, including Creative Operations, to develop and track timelines for briefing, tracking deliverables and execution
- Develop a meeting cadence for the GTM process that includes alignment with key stakeholders, briefing moments, sharing across brand and up to senior leadership
- Consumer Insights
- Lead relevant market research for calendar and go to market planning including surveys, salon visits, phone calls with KOLs, and brand studies
- Monitor industry trends, the competitive landscape, and promotional activities, establishing a system to track and maintain these insights to generate recommendations that inform our calendar and go-to-market strategies
- Work with Unilever Prestige consumer insights teams to develop plans for studies and communicate all relevant findings to K18
- Brand Marketing Initiatives
- Support all global brand marketing initiatives including but not limited to building presentations, brand and marketing analysis, coordinating shipments, briefing assets and presenting to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working within a global capacity for a CPG brand
- Experience in beauty marketing, with experience with professional stylists a plus
- Previous experience managing the go-to-market process including campaign strategy development, cross functional alignment and creative briefing
- Natural storyteller who understands the brand DNA, voice, and aesthetics
- A "people person," skilled at building and nurturing relationships, and balancing many priorities
- A genuine passion for the brand, mission, customer, and products

- Self-starter and team player
- Minimum Education level bachelor's degree
- Ability to work in a remote/home office and ability to travel for offsite events. Travel up to 5-10%.
Salary: $90,000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
