BrandStar Entertainment is seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee social media efforts for 'Health Uncensored'. Topics range from connecting people living with chronic conditions to sharing vital information and research. As the Social Media Manager, you have a passion for social media, and always stay on top of new trends, emerging media, and engagement opportunities. You will be responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns and programs, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase awareness for clients and brands.
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the SMM will have strong leadership capabilities and an eye for detail, creative and strategic mind, and be a positive and outspoken self-starter that works well within a team.
Overview Of Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that social media efforts are executed on time and meet quality standards.
- Advance the influencer and/or community advocacy efforts.
- Drive social media strategies that will drive quality audience growth, engagement, and traffic to achieve brand and business objectives.
- Develop paid social media campaigns in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Research the latest social tools, trends, and current events.

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to work with multiple internal and external teams effectively and in a fast-paced environment
- Deep working knowledge of social listening platforms
- The ability to assimilate extensive amounts of detailed data and to see the big picture, providing actionable and influential recommendations
- Ability to recognize opportunities, formulate hypotheses, plan research, identify insights, and drive recommendations relevant to the business goals and objectives
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere

Required Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of social media marketing experience in an agency or internal creative department. Prior experience supporting healthcare, wellness, or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with social media strategy, content creation, community monitoring best practices, influencer relations, analytics and reporting.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and language skills.
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences/followerswith an emphasis on TikTok.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and still photography is a plus!
