Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies for our diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving skills to improve our clients' online visibility and drive meaningful organic traffic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough SEO audits and develop data-driven optimization strategies tailored to each client's goals and industry
- Perform detailed keyword research and analysis to identify valuable ranking opportunities and content gaps
- Collaborate with content teams to optimize existing content and develop new SEO-focused content strategies
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO platforms
- Implement technical SEO improvements, including site architecture, meta tags, schema markup, and mobile optimization
- Create monthly performance reports and present results to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay current with SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency environment
- Proven track record of improving search rankings and organic traffic for diverse clients
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and current best practices
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with local SEO strategies and optimization
- Knowledge of content management systems, particularly WordPress
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts
- Experience with paid search (PPC) campaigns
- Google Analytics and Search Console certifications
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist at HappyDog Media Group. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for tasks such as keyword research, conducting SEO audits, link building, analyzing web analytics, and implementing on-page SEO strategies.
