Position Title: Marketing & Events Manager

Position Summary:
The Marketing & Events Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of both private and public events at Town Brewing Co. This position involves managing event logistics, developing and executing marketing strategies, and managing the company's social media presence. The Marketing & Events Manager works closely with the Director of Operations, Taproom Manager, and other team members to ensure events align with brand goals, enhance community engagement, and increase brand visibility. The Marketing & Events Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Event Management & Coordination:
- Coordinate private events (corporate gatherings, parties, nonprofits, fundraisers) and public events (beer releases, festivals, markets, weekly events).
- Manage vendor selection, logistics, and ensure smooth event execution.
- Collaborate with external organizations to meet brand and operational standards.
- Maintain an event calendar for seamless coordination across teams.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Promotion:
- Design marketing strategies for events and product releases.
- Execute marketing campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.
- Work with the Director of Operations to align marketing with business goals.
- Manage event marketing budgets to optimize resources.
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to promote events and increase brand awareness.
- Create engaging content (graphics, videos) and maintain a content calendar.
- Respond to community inquiries and track social media performance.
- Engage with local influencers to amplify event promotion.
Position Operations and Schedule:
Operational Oversight:
- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Analyze post-event performance to improve future events.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Assist other departments to align event goals with company objectives.
Schedule & Travel:
- Predominant working hours are Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, as events may occur outside regular business hours.
- Occasional travel to off-site events and festivals.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs during event setup.
Position Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in event coordination, marketing, and social media management.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the beverage or brewery industry is a plus.
