Vice President of Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer (DOE) - B2B SaaS, MarTech

A high-growth SaaS company is seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer to lead its marketing function and drive measurable business impact. This role is suited to a dynamic marketing leader who has successfully scaled B2B SaaS organisations from £25M to £50M+ in revenue and understands the blueprint for achieving ambitious growth targets.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will lead a team of seven marketers and play a pivotal role in crafting a bold marketing strategy that enhances brand visibility, generates leads, and positions the company as a market leader.
About the Role
The VP of Marketing will be responsible for designing and executing a cohesive marketing strategy, with a focus on content and growth marketing. They will oversee all aspects of the marketing journey, from awareness to conversion and brand evangelism, while ensuring alignment with revenue growth objectives/demand generation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to gain market share, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate growth.
- Align efforts across product, growth, brand, communications, and events to ensure a unified and impactful approach.
Customer Journey Ownership:
- Lead the customer communication journey, improving KPIs for awareness, perception, conversion, and brand advocacy.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of seven marketing professionals across product marketing, demand generation, content, and communications.
- Foster a results-driven culture of creativity, excellence, and data-informed decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Revenue, Client Success, Product, Partnerships, and Finance teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with broader business goals.
- Develop strategies that support the SaaS buying cycle and enterprise sales processes.
Data-Driven Storytelling:
- Use data and analytics to inform strategies and evaluate effectiveness while maintaining a strong focus on compelling narratives.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record of scaling SaaS businesses through bold strategies and measurable outcomes.

- A background in MarTech is highly advantageous
