Main Responsibilities:
Diadora US is seeking a dynamic and proactive Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on serving the marketing needs of 20 strategically important run specialty retailers, fostering relationships, and bringing the Diadora brand to life through impactful events and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a passion for marketing and the running community.
Main Responsibilities:
- Retailer Support: Serve as the primary marketing contact for 20 strategically important run specialty retailers, ensuring their marketing needs are met and exceeded.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, understanding their unique business goals and aligning Diadora’s brand strategies to support them.
- Tech Sessions: Conduct tech sessions, educating our partners’ retail staff on our brand and products
- Event Management: Plan and execute brand activations and events at retailer locations and key running community events to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- In-Store Marketing: Collaborate with retail partners to create compelling in-store marketing materials, displays, and promotions that drive sales and elevate the Diadora brand.
- Campaign Execution: Work closely with internal marketing and sales teams to roll out seasonal campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment with Diadora’s global branding.
- Travel: Travel approximately 50% of the time to visit retail partners, attend events, and execute activations across the US.
- Reporting: Track and report on the performance of trade marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or a related role, ideally within the sports or footwear industry.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining successful business relationships.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- Passion for the running industry or an active lifestyle is a plus.
