Social Content Creative Manager - FULL-TIME Role
Location: Quincy (+ Weymouth), MA
Duration: Full-Time, Permanent!
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days p/w on-site, Tues & Wed mandatory. Monday or Thurs your choice.
Timeline for hire: Two rounds of interviews. Ideally hiring within the next 3-4 weeks, this is a big priority!
Salary Range: $120-$130K + non guaranteed annual bonus based on company performance

- Ability to access a vehicle at any time since you will be asked to visit various locations in the local area to capture content.

Position Overview
Extremely excited about this role!! Our retail & food client is bringing on a Full-Time Social Content Creative Manager to their team! This is a brand new position on a fantastic creative team. This role is a management position, ultimately responsible for not only establishing this first-ever Content team, but also owning the video and still content social media rollout for both paid and organic channels across TikTok, Instagram, and more.
This role is dual part strategy and production. Our client needs someone who knows the social media landscape and can make recommendations as to why certain content should be produced for certain channels, and then look to pitch these ideas to leadership. In this role, you will be expected to brainstorm, concept ideas and inspire your team. Additionally, in conjunction with your immediate team, you will be hands-on as needed with social content creation and will need to be savvy with video editing and bringing the content to life. To be considered for this role, you will need a blown out portfolio showcasing your content creation capabilities.
You will partner with various cross channel teams - creative, marketing, strategy and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media content (based on creative briefs) to increase brand awareness and engagement on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
- Manage two Social Media Content Creators and oversee the development and execution of innovative social media content that drives engagement and growth across all organic and paid social channels.
- Help create and oversee the creation of social media content including Instagram/TikTok videos, reels, stories, posts, and more, ensuring it is innovative, engaging, and platform-specific.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content fits brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and content creation, adapting strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- 5 years' proven experience in social media management, content creation, and strategy development
- Interest and excitement to step into a management position. Previous management experience a huge plus although not mandatory.
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, hashtag strategy, and platform-specific best practices.
- Experience working with creative briefs, marketing and branding concepts.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a creative mindset.
- Experience with content management tools and social media scheduling platforms.
- Familiarity with After Effects is a plus, but not required.

The hiring manager is very open to someone's creative and strategic background (design, video editing, social media manager, photographer etc) as long as you're able to prove your deep understanding and content creation experience and capabilities to not only be hands-on, but to lead this brand-new team.
