MARKETING COORDINATOR
Support the Furtuna Skin team in building out a best-in-class digital community through social media and community management. Also support the marketing team with campaign reporting, inventory budgeting, influencer seeding and administrative tasks as needed.
The candidate will be extremely passionate about identifying social media trends, developing an engaged digital community, content creation and data analysis. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, creative, analytical, dependable, detail oriented and organized.
The Marketing Coordinator will report into the Vice President of Global Marketing, while also supporting the Marketing Manager. Optimally the candidate will be based in NYC and join us at our co-working office space 2-3 days per week.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SOCIAL
- Post daily content to brand social media accounts.
- Execute a strong community management process, ensuring every direct message and comment is responded to, in verbiage in alignment with our brand voice, within 24 hours. Review tagged photos and engage with UGC, encouraging creators to continue their social relationship with us.
- Conceptualize new ways to engage and expand brand and product awareness on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Produce/design social media content when needed.
- Prepare and submit social media content briefs to the Creative team.
- Support the Marketing Manager with tracking, analyzing and producing insightful reports surrounding social media activity, to prove ROI and to advise on future optimizations of our strategy, KPIs and best practices.
- Monitor and maintain strong understanding of activity from competitors and other aspirational brands to gauge trends and inspiration in a constantly changing landscape.
2. INVENTORY & PROCESS
- Support overall product seeding strategy, including maintaining seeding lists and organizing product send-outs.
- Manage monthly inventory allocation for both the Marketing and PR departments.
- Capture and save UGC content generated from organic seeding and paid placements. Update quotes and paid usage tracker when relevant.
3. MARKETING SUPPORT
- Support Marketing Manager and VP of Marketing with monthly reporting.
- Prepare meeting recaps for relevant team meetings.
- Event coordination assistance when necessary.
- Messenger/shipping/printing assistance when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in working in a social media, brand marketing or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media channels and emerging platforms.
- Passionate about creating best-in-class experiences for both partners and our customers.
- Proven track record of leading social campaigns that have met and/or exceeded business goals.
- Experience with social media analytics, with a proven ability to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations that will positively impact the business.
- Experience with Excel, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator/Canva/graphic design skills a plus.
- Detail-oriented, creative, analytical, organized, self-motivated + dependable.
- BA/BS degree.
