The Junior Social Ecommerce Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and optimization of social ecommerce initiatives on TikTok and TikTok Shop. This individual will work to enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and improve customer engagement through these platforms.
This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Marketing and Merchandising
- Develop and execute marketing plans to promote products and drive sales on TikTok and TikTok Shop
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across TikTok
- Maintain a TikTok marketing calendar and manage timelines for promotions, launches, and special events
Revenue Growth
- In partnership with Ecommerce Director, develop strategies to grow revenue on TikTok Shop, identify new opportunities and optimize existing resources to maximize sales
- Implement and manage consignment business models to enhance product availability and reduce inventory risks
- Monitor performance metrics and execute campaigns to increase engagement and conversion rates
- Support the Ecommerce Director to monitor and manage monthly budgets to ensure optimal spending on advertising investments for TikTok
Product Listing Management
- Create and optimize product listings tailored for TikTok Shop, ensuring accurate product descriptions, visuals, and SEO-friendly tags
- Regularly update product information, including pricing, availability, and special promotions
- Troubleshoot product and order errors, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution
Order and Customer Experience Management
- Troubleshoot product and order errors, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to handle customer inquiries related to TikTok Shop
Influencer and Affiliate Collaboration
- Partner with influencer and affiliate teams to seed products for reviews, creating brand advocacy and driving conversions
- Monitor influencer collaborations to assess effectiveness and optimize strategies for product seeding
- Handle influencer contracts and negotiate creator terms to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
- 2+ years of proven experience in social media management, ecommerce, and digital marketing
- Prior experience working with TikTok Shop highly preferred
- Experience in the Beauty or CPG industry preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of TikTok and TikTok Shop
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and provide reports to internal stakeholders to track TikTok initiatives' effectiveness
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong PowerPoint creation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking tools
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
