My client is a rapidly expanding, PE backed global SaaS firm who have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to bring in a key leadership hire, a VP, Head of Marketing.
The role will report directly into C-suite.
As the VP - Head of Marketing, you will focus on, and be responsible for, the following:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, goals, and product roadmap.
- Drive the global marketing agenda, ensuring cohesion across corporate, product, and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer (CPO), leadership team, and cross-functional departments to achieve impactful results.
Corporate Marketing and Branding
- Oversee the company’s corporate brand to ensure consistency, differentiation, and market impact.
- Lead initiatives such as website strategy, public relations, and digital marketing campaigns to strengthen brand presence.
Product Marketing
- Own the end-to-end product marketing strategy, ensuring clear messaging, positioning, and value propositions across all product stages.
- Collaborate with product management and sales teams to create impactful collateral, case studies, and competitive analyses to drive adoption and sales.
Events and Trade Shows
- Plan and execute high-visibility events, trade shows, and industry conferences to enhance the firms' presence and generate leads.
- Ensure event strategies are closely aligned with broader marketing and GTM objectives.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Activities
- Lead GTM strategies for product launches, partnering with product, sales, and customer success teams for successful rollouts.
- Monitor and optimize GTM effectiveness using data to continuously refine and improve outcomes.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and lead a high-performing, centralized marketing team based in Plano with a global impact.
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Performance Measurement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Present results and insights to the leadership team, leveraging data to refine strategies and respond to market feedback.
