Mercado Famous offers the best quality meat from ecological farms that have been using natural ingredients and humane practices on the Iberian Peninsula for decades. With our backgrounds in sourcing and supply chains, we are able to procure Spain’s best pasture-raised charcuterie at prices that make it an everyday luxury.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the eCommerce and Marketing Manager, you will be a key member of our core team and work closely with the Co-Founders to lead all aspects of the eCommerce including website management working closely with our design and dev agencies, development of on-going campaign landing pages, lead and maintain all website updates.
You will be leading the marketing calenda for the Caraa brand based on product launch schedule, and responsible for working closely with our advertising and PR agencies in order to share and communicate seasonal campaign and promotional details.
You will lead and support wholesale operations with brand lookbook, linesheet and any seasonal marketing initiatives.
You will also be supporting the brand CEO in one-off special marketing initiatives and partnerships; the eCommerce and Marketing responsibilities encompass approximately 90% of your scope.
In addition to Caraa, you will also be taking on an array of eCommerce and marketing responsibilities of a second brand managed under the same leadership umbrella called Mercado Famous, founded in 2022 with the mission of bringing the best of Spanish charcuterie for the American consumers. The eCommerce and Marketing responsibilities encompass approximately 10% of your scope.

This role is full-time and located in New York City.
Salary range: offer set based on candidate experience and seniority
You will need to have a minimum of 3 years of eCommerce and Marketing experience working with an ecommerce, fashion, retail or CPG brand.
REQUIREMENTS
What you'll do
eCommerce Management
- Project-manage all eCommerce projects working closely with our design and web development team
- Lead communication and maintenance with all of the eCommerce technology partners
- Lead all website copy working closely with brand’s creative team
- On-going maintenance of website content such as pricing updates, content uploads, new product uploads etc …
- Project-manage seasonal product launch for eCommerce working closely with brand’s design and creative team
Marketing Calendar
- Lead the development of brands’ marketing calendar
- Lead the development of brands’ promotional calendar
- Project-manage and liaise with the brands’ PR and advertising agency about the seasonal product launches
Sales & marketing initiatives
- Lead and project-manage all ongoing digital sample sales and bi-annual activations including in person sample sales.
- Lead and project-manage seasonal marketing initiatives such special brand collaborations.
- Project-manage and support one off PR events working closely with brands’ PR agency.
Wholesale operations
- Support seasonal tradeshows together with brand’s wholesale manager.
- Project-manage the development of seasonal lookbook and linesheet.
Special projects
- Support company CEO in special partnerships and marketing initiatives.
Who you are
- Have at least 3 years of eCommerce and marketing managerial experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive Suites
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Highly organized with ability to collaborate, self-prioritize, and ask for help when needed
- Are passionate about Caraa and Mercado Famous, our ethos, and our products
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup environment
- Desire to learn and take on new challenges
- Desired but not required: experience with Adobe suite
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of eCommerce and marketing managerial experience within a Fashion, Retail or CPG brands
- Proficient in Shopify
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive Suites
- Proficiency in navigating social media channels including Facebook, Tik Tok, and Instagram
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud suite
