Role Overview:
As a Social Media Assistant at Retrofête, you’ll provide vital support to the social media team by helping with content creation, community management, and day-to-day social media tasks. This is an entry-level role with plenty of room for growth, perfect for someone who is eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to dive into the fast-paced world of digital marketing and fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Support: Assist in the creation of on-brand, visually appealing social media content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms. This includes helping with photo/video shoots, editing, and caption writing.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on our social media channels, fostering an active and positive community.
- Content Scheduling: Help schedule posts and maintain the social media calendar, ensuring content is timely and consistent.
- Influencer & PR Support: Assist with influencer outreach and track collaborations, ensuring timely posting and accurate reporting.
- Analytics Monitoring: Help track and report on key performance metrics for social media campaigns, providing insights to the team on what’s working.
- Trend Tracking: Stay up to date with social media trends, hashtags, and viral content to help us stay relevant and inspire creative strategies.
- Brand Representation: Ensure that all interactions and content reflect the Retrofête brand’s voice and image.
Qualifications:
- A passion for fashion, social media, and digital marketing.
- 1-2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (internships or personal social media experience is a plus).
- Strong interest in Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms; familiarity with social media best practices.
- Basic knowledge of photo/video editing software (such as Canva, Capcut, or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented with a keen eye for trends.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt your voice to fit different platforms and brand tones.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team.
