We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our marketing team and take charge of our brands' social media presence across multiple platforms.
Job Overview
As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a social media strategy for each of our five brands. You will create engaging content, manage community interactions, and drive growth and engagement across various social media platforms. This role requires a creative mind, leadership and analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to each brand's unique voice and audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple brands across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Create and curate engaging content that aligns with each brand's voice and marketing objectives
- Create and manage a monthly social calendar that supports key company initiatives
- Manage and grow brand communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and content creation
- Collaborate with sales to ensure key customer initiatives are supported
- Support the creation of processes and best practices amongst the social media team to maximize team efficiency
- Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Create regular performance reports and analyze social metrics to build and adapt monthly social calendars
- Oversee influencer relationships and partnerships
- Plan and manage yearly social media budgets
- Support sales with customer meetings, regarding key social media initiatives
- Oversee crisis management and reputation monitoring on social platforms
- Stay up to date with platform changes and new features, implementing them where relevant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5 - 7+ years of experience in social media management, preferably with experience handling multiple brands at once
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences and increasing engagement
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and analytics tools
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Tribe, Sprout Social, Buffer)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt voice and style to different brand personalities
- Experience with paid social media advertising
- Knowledge of canva, graphic design and video editing is a plus
