Position Overview
SWAG Golf is seeking a visionary Vice President of Marketing to lead the charge in growing the brand's influence and customer base while maintaining its exclusive appeal. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that amplify SWAG’s unique identity, nurture its collector community, and maximize the potential of our newly integrated sub-brands. The ideal candidate is a dynamic marketing leader with a proven track record in direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce, brand building, and cultivating customer loyalty in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth across SWAG Golf, Hometown Brands, and Rewind Golf.
- Align marketing initiatives with the company’s D2C e-commerce model, focusing on limited-release product drops and cultivating anticipation.
- Establish KPIs to track the effectiveness of campaigns and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Establish and maintain the company’s Integrated Marketing Calendar
- Manage the marketing team across all functions – digital, experiential, customer service, creative, etc.
Brand Development and Positioning
- Safeguard and elevate SWAG Golf’s unique brand identity, ensuring its exclusivity and appeal remain intact.
- Oversee the successful integration and positioning of Hometown Brands and Rewind Golf within the SWAG ecosystem.
- Drive the creative direction and storytelling behind each product release to capture new and loyal customers alike.
Community Engagement and Growth
- Lead efforts to attract and retain the next generation of SWAG enthusiasts while continuing to nurture the passionate collector community.
- Leverage the brand’s social media presence (Instagram and beyond) to grow engagement and followers.
- Create and execute campaigns that encourage user-generated content and community participation.
Digital and E-Commerce Marketing
- Spearhead digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, paid media, SEO/SEM, and influencer partnerships, to drive e-commerce sales.
- Innovate around product drop strategies to maximize excitement and sell-through rates.
- Optimize the customer journey on SWAG’s e-commerce platform to improve conversion rates and AOV.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the product development, design, and sales teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Manage relationships with external agencies (PR, digital, events, etc.), freelancers, and influencers to scale impact.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably in D2C e-commerce, lifestyle brands, or collectibles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling brands in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, and community building.
- Strong understanding of product positioning, storytelling, and branding.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns for limited-release or highly collectible products is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Passion for golf, design, and/or lifestyle brands is highly desirable.
