About the Role
The VP of Marketing is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of all marketing and demand generation initiatives. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth by increasing sales through successful marketing strategies, including market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive product/service adoption.
- Set and monitor long-term goals for the marketing team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and opportunities.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance the company's reputation and drive market leadership.
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all marketing channels and materials.
- Continuously monitor market and competitive activity, adapting strategies as needed.
- Campaign Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, gather key insights, and assess results against defined goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Optimize marketing strategies and campaigns based on data analysis and market trends.
- Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the company's digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and online advertising.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Ensure the company's online presence effectively reflects and supports the overall brand strategy.
- Product Marketing:
- Collaborate closely with product management and sales teams to develop compelling product positioning and messaging.
- Support new product launches with comprehensive marketing plans and sales enablement tools.
- Conduct market research to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Sales Collaboration:
- Partner with the sales team to develop and execute marketing initiatives that directly support sales objectives.
- Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and resources to effectively communicate product value to customers.
- Ensure alignment between marketing and sales strategies to maximize market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented team culture.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Public Relations & Communications:
- Oversee public relations efforts to secure positive media coverage and maintain a strong public image.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and industry influencers.
- Manage crisis communications effectively to protect the company's reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in market research and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
- Experience working effectively within a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the technology sector, with a preference for experience working internationally for 5+ years.
