About This Opportunity:
As the Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting both short- and long-form content to build brand awareness, drive demand, and position Valenz Health as a thought leader in the self-insurance industry.You’ll bring expertise in copywriting with a keen eye for design, developing compelling content for various channels including advertising, blog posts, case studies, executive communications, presentations, social media, webpages, white papers, and more. Your strong storytelling skills will be key to creating impactful and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Build, manage, and execute a robust content strategy and calendar that align with brand and marketing goals
- Regularly conduct research to stay updated on emerging trends, industry insights, and relevant news, applying learnings to content development
- Copywrite thought leadership content in the form of blog posts, case studies, eBooks, and white papers, collaborating closely with internal SMEs
- Craft copy for corporate publications, including advertisements, media submissions, newsletters, and press releases
- Develop executive communications, presentations, and speaking engagement materials
- Manage organic social media content
- Collaborate with graphic designers to bring written content to life visually
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact for partners and vendors with whom Valenz regularly develop or share content
- Partner closely with internal SMEs to ensure content is accurate, compelling, and timely
- Analyze, refine, and repurpose content to effectively reach target audiences
- Evaluate and optimize web copy for engagement and SEO purposes
- Identify new channels, publication opportunities, and topics
- Leverage marketing automation tools to streamline distribution

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 3+ years of proven experience in content development, copywriting, or storytelling
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally while also conducting independent research
- Ability and desire to build deep industry expertise that drives sophisticated thought leadership content
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A plus if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- Experience in the healthcare or health insurance industries
- Proficiency in Canva, HubSpot, WordPress, and related tools
- Knowledge of video production
Where You’ll Work:
This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!
- Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions
- Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
- Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software
- Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA
