Following Buenos Aires and Miami Beach, Faena New York, will find its home at 500 West 18th Street, overlooking the High Line in a building designed by Bjarke Ingels Group. This latest opening will be synonymous with sophistication, glamour, breathtaking artwork, and cultural trendsetting. This opening will mark the resurgence of luxury nightlife experiences in New York with dynamic food and beverage venues and programming that will make Faena the ultimate destination for the sophisticated traveler to New York.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Digital Marketing Manager will join the Faena New York pre-opening team and will take part in the initial set-up and build-out of the hotel’s digital marketing presence through the hotel’s opening phase. Post-opening, this position will be responsible for creating content, as well as developing and executing cutting-edge digital marketing strategies to elevate the brand presence of Faena New York. The 120-room hotel, which includes four Food and Beverage outlets – a signature restaurant, The Living Room, El Secreto – an Omakase experience and La Cava, a private dining space, will embody nightlife offerings and live music with DJs.
The person in this role will drive the hotel’s digital presence across multiple platforms including search engines, the hotel website, social media channels and review sites by leveraging creative storytelling and innovative digital strategies. They will build and engage an exclusive following and reinforce the hotel’s status as a hub for luxury, art, and elite experiences in New York City.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the hotel’s brand of luxury, sophistication, and exclusivity.
- Position the hotel as a cultural trendsetter by creating campaigns that highlight its unique offerings—such as the Omakase experience, exclusive nightlife events, live music, and breathtaking artwork.
- Maintain consistent, high-end messaging across all digital touchpoints (website, social media, paid advertising, etc.), reinforcing the hotel’s luxurious and exclusive identity.
- Manage and curate the hotel’s social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), focusing on engagement, brand building, and influencer relations.
- Create and implement a content calendar that showcases the hotel’s diverse offerings, from sophisticated dining to glamorous nightlife, utilizing high-quality visuals, video content, and storytelling.
- Coordinate and create rich content to feature on the hotel’s digital and social channels.
- Build a community around the hotel brand by interacting with followers, responding to inquiries, and engaging in meaningful conversations that promote the hotel’s exclusivity and cultural influence.
- Develop partnerships with influencers, celebrities, and brand ambassadors to expand the hotel’s reach and attract diverse and high-net-worth individuals and trendsetters.
- Oversee the hotel’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually stunning, and optimized for conversion (room bookings, restaurant reservations, event inquiries).
- Optimize website content for search engines (SEO), ensuring high visibility for relevant keywords related to luxury travel, fine dining, exclusive events, and New York City’s elite lifestyle.
- Regularly monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, while adjusting to improve user experience and drive higher engagement.
- Lead the creation of compelling digital content (blog posts, videos, photography) that reflects the hotel’s luxurious atmosphere, cultural relevance, and premium offerings.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and creative teams to produce high-quality visual and video content showcasing the hotel’s rooms, amenities, dining experiences, nightlife, and live events.
- Craft captivating narratives for email campaigns, newsletters, and digital ads that emphasize the hotel’s sophistication and exclusive experiences.
- Develop targeted email marketing campaigns to drive bookings, promote events, and foster loyalty among past guests and high-net-worth individuals.
- Use CRM data to segment audiences and create personalized, exclusive offers and promotions for VIPs, repeat customers, and luxury travelers.
- Track email campaign performance and use analytics to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Plan and execute paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and other luxury-focused platforms to increase visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Work with media buying teams or agencies to allocate budgets effectively and ensure the ROI of all digital advertising initiatives.
- Track and report on ad performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure campaigns achieve their objectives (e.g., increase room bookings, promote exclusive events, etc.).
- Develop strategic partnerships with local artists, influencers, and cultural organizations that align with the hotel’s brand identity.
- Identify high-profile influencers and celebrities who resonate with the hotel’s target market and engage them in collaborations to generate buzz and awareness.
- Create influencer-driven campaigns to promote special events (e.g., Omakase nights, exclusive live music events, etc.) and the hotel’s dining and nightlife experiences.
- Lead the digital marketing efforts for exclusive events at the hotel, including live music, DJ sets, private dinners, and celebrity-hosted nights.
- Utilize email, social media, and paid media to promote events and create anticipation among the hotel’s target audience.
- Develop unique digital experiences for guests, such as behind-the-scenes content, live-streamed events, and special VIP access promotions to enhance the exclusivity of the hotel’s offerings.
- Analyze key performance metrics for all digital marketing campaigns, including website traffic, social media engagement, email performance, and paid media effectiveness.
- Create regular reports and insights to measure the success of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
- Work with the leadership team to track bookings, event attendance, and revenue generated through digital marketing initiatives.
- Ensure the hotel maintains a positive online reputation by actively monitoring online reviews, responding to guest feedback, and promoting guest experiences.
- Engage with media outlets, travel bloggers, and influencers to feature the hotel in relevant publications, blogs, and travel guides.
- Promote the hotel’s artistic and cultural presence in New York and internationally, highlighting its role as a destination for culture, art, and exclusive lifestyle experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on luxury brands, hospitality, orlifestyle marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Advanced certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, or Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.
- Proven track record in managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (website, social media, email, paid media).
- Experience with influencer marketing, content creation, and building a high-end brand presence online.
SKILLS
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms and tools (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, etc.).
- Strong understanding of luxury branding, trends in hospitality, and the NYC cultural scene.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and content for diverse audiences.
- Strong visual eye for digital content creation and storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including with creative, operations, and leadership teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns for better performance.
