Event Manager will lead the planning and execution of high-profile event concepting, execution, and mailers for a prominent consumer technology client. Key Responsibilities:
- Event Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with the client to define event goals, objectives, and success metrics.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to incorporate innovative ideas into event strategies.
- Liaison between client and internal communications teams (PR, Talent & Creator teams) on cross functional deliverables, pitches, and mailers
- Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on all aspects of event execution, including venue sourcing, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
- Oversee production schedules, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong communication and trust.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative, production) and external stakeholders to align on event goals and execution.
- Ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- On-Site Execution:
- Lead on-site event management, including team coordination, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless execution.
- Represent the client’s brand with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Post-Event Analysis:
- Conduct event debriefs and evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed post-event reports, including ROI analysis and key insights.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably within the tech or consumer goods industries.
- Proven track record of managing a range of events from small media dinners to large-scale, high-profile events.
- Skills:
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite).
- Knowledge of budget management and financial reporting tools.
