An award-winning creative agency located in northern New Jersey is seeking a Marketing Director to join and lead our growing marketing division. We specialize in marketing, branding and identity projects including print media, digital design, and web development. Our clients range from institutional non-profits and regional businesses to global corporations.
We’re looking for a highly organized marketing director to lead the growth and development of our growing marketing team. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on marketing experience – you can dream up a strategic campaign, develop all of creative assets needed with a team, execute the campaign, then report on the success. They will have the ability to lead a team of marketers, writers, and designers plus interact with clients on a regular basis. This is a fully remote position with the occasional team get-together in the tri-state area and client meeting.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our clients’ marketing plans working closely with clients, management, and creative teams to create and implement effective and efficient marketing strategies focused on growing audiences for our clients
- Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and make strategic recommendations for our clients
- Work with both our clients and our internal team to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and opportunities
- Collaborate with other team members to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company
- Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards
- Provide weekly status’ to marketing clients and monthly campaign reporting
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years experience being on and leading a marketing team, having worked in an agency environment with many simultaneous clients and projects is a huge plus
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Advanced knowledge and or certifications in Google Ads and META advertising platforms
- Ability to multitask and possess high-paced time management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous work experience in B2B marketing and advertising.

- Ability to lead groups and be decisive but work independently to complete tasks
- Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies
- Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
- Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing a plus
- Must have the authorization to work in the US
