Job Title: Marketing and Brand Communications Manager
Reports to: EVP of North America and Europe
The Marketing and Brand Communications Manager is responsible for the strategic development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives that drive customer engagement, elevate brand visibility, and contribute to business growth. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams—including sales, product development, and operations—to implement integrated marketing campaigns. Additionally, the position requires close coordination with senior leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with broader business objectives. The Manager will also lead and mentor a dynamic team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify target audiences, emerging market trends, and competitive activities.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans in collaboration with the U.S. marketing team, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Identify and utilize the most effective marketing channels, both traditional and digital, to reach and engage target customers.
- Coordinate with Brazilian partners to ensure alignment of U.S. marketing strategies and confirm consistency with their respective marketing initiatives.
- Partner with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, ensuring a cohesive customer journey.
Brand Management:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand awareness and improve customer perception.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and tone across all marketing materials and communication channels.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of engaging marketing content, including website copy, social media content, email campaigns, and advertising materials.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing initiatives while maintaining brand integrity.
- Respond to inbound press inquiries and facilitate appropriate brand responses.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee and optimize the company’s digital presence, including website management, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns.
- Implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve website traffic and conversion rates.
- Leverage digital platforms, including social media and online advertising, to engage with customers and drive online sales.
- Collaborate with the PR and Influencer Coordinator to manage influencer partnerships and strategies.
- Work closely with the eCommerce and paid media teams to enhance digital marketing initiatives.
Market Analysis and Research:
- Stay informed about industry developments, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify new opportunities and evolving customer needs.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and continuously improve campaign performance.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including advertising agencies, media outlets, and vendors, to successfully execute marketing initiatives.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring that PR, social media & marketing projects are executed efficiently and align with strategic goals.
- Encourage professional development by identifying growth opportunities and providing constructive feedback to enhance team members’ skills.
- Manage team priorities and resources to ensure that initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience in retail marketing, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of retail industry trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Expertise in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies, both traditional and digital.
- Strong experience in managing digital marketing campaigns, including social media, SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
