There are three major things that differentiate IT’SUGAR from other candy retailers. One is the product – an unconventional twist on traditional candy store goods that focus on the humorous and outlandish. Second is the ambiance – full of bright colors, loud music, and lighthearted rebellion. The third is the people – passionate, optimistic, and energetic.
The Brand Marketing Coordinator collaborates and creates marketing materials for all store locations and properties. Tracks and analyzes the performance of advertising campaigns, manages the marketing budget and ensures that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.
What you’ll do? IT’S Exciting!
- Support the Marketing Team in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop advertising content, promotional materials and product descriptions.
- Validate that all promotional materials align with the company’s mission and branding guidelines.
- Conduct market research to analyze and understand trends, customer preferences and competitor strategies to inform on marketing efforts.
- Support the creation and scheduling of social media content to engage customers and grow the brand’s online presence.
- Track the performance of marketing campaigns and generate reporting to measure success against KPI’s.
- Assist in monitoring marketing budgets to ensure campaigns are delivered within allocated resources.
- Work closely with design, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Coordinate and support in-store events, product launches, or promotional events to drive customer engagement.
- Manage timelines for deliverables for marketing campaigns
- Develop an understanding of the retail and confections industry, trends and retail environments.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need To Join The Fun (besides SUGAR)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communication, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in marketing. Retail or consumer focused industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in using Mac based tools and programs, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good understanding of branding principles and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and planning abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic marketing environment.
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines while successfully managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and cross-functionally with other departments.
- Ability to take direction and adapt quickly to feedback
