Position: Partial-CMO for Multi-state Spa (Partial - Chief Marketing Officer)
Location: U.S.-based, ideally in New York City or Miami.
Commitment: Part-time (approximately 20 hours/week). Potential for full-time executive role.
Total Potential Monthly Compensation: $13,000
· Base Fee: $5,000 per month

Silver Mirror Facial Bar is a cutting-edge skincare spa with 9 facial bars across NYC, DC, and Miami. We are looking for a data-driven, technically skilled, and creative marketing expert with a proven track record of scaling 4-wall service businesses in industries like beauty or fitness.
Key Challenges For Role:
- Increase New Guest Attendance: Drive traffic and generate new customer visits across all locations.
- Lower Acquisition Costs (CAC): Refine ad spend efficiency and improve cost-effectiveness across all paid media channels.
- Fix Conversion Issues: Address key challenges such as cart drop-offs, booking flow inefficiencies, and other barriers to purchase.
- Test & Refine Creative Performance: Consistently run A/B tests on creative elements—including copy, visuals, and video—
- Deep Dive Audit and Assessment of Advertising: Use best practices across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Yelp Ads.
- Leverage Hyper-Local Advertising: Identify and implement innovative, localized advertising technologies to amplify our footprint in specific markets.
- Drive Membership Growth & Retention: Convert non-members to members, increase return visits from non-member guests, and re-engage guests who haven’t been in for a while.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit & Optimize Campaigns:
- Evaluate and refine existing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Yelp Ads to eliminate inefficiencies and maximize ROI.
- Creative Testing & Execution:
- Execute hands-on A/B testing of ad creative, messaging, and targeting strategies. Iterate rapidly to improve performance.
- Innovative Strategy Development:
- Explore and implement new hyper-local advertising tools and methods to grow local traffic and presence.
- Customer Journey Optimization:
- Solve drop-off issues during the purchase or booking process and optimize the customer journey from discovery to conversion.
- Membership & Retention Growth:
- Build campaigns to convert one-time visitors into members, drive repeat visits, and re-engage lapsed customers.
- Program Enhancements:
- Analyze and optimize Affiliate Marketing, Referral Marketing, and SMS Marketing programs for better results.
- Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:
- Develop clear performance reports, highlighting actionable insights and strategies for ongoing improvements.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Lead the Director of Marketing, Social Media Coordinator, Publicity Team, and external Paid Ads agency to execute strategies.
Compensation
- Base Fee: $5,000/month
- Monthly Performance-Based Bonuses Tiers:
- Attendance Growth:
- $1,000 for a YOY Attendance Increase of 1,500
- $2,000 for a YOY Attendance Increase of 2,000
- $4,000 for a YOY Attendance Increase of 5,000
- Membership Growth:
- $1,000 for a Net Membership Increase of 100
- $2,000 for a Net Membership Increase of 200
- $4,000 for a Net Membership Increase of 300
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years in marketing roles with proven success scaling service-based businesses.
- 5+ years in leadership roles, driving brand strategy and execution.
- 10+ years experience in digital marketing (SEM, SEO, and Social Media).
- 5+ years in the beauty, wellness, cosmetics, or fitness industry.
- Hands-On Expertise: Advanced experience with campaign execution and tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Yelp Ads.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Klaviyo, WordPress, and advanced analytics/reporting tools.
- Data-Driven & Creative: Ability to balance metrics-driven strategies with creative testing and optimizations.
Soft Skills:
- Adaptability: Ability to pivot strategies based on data and market trends.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively with the executive team and mentor internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Resourceful and focused on finding practical solutions to marketing challenges.
