Position Overview
The Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our brand, products, and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the retail industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and oversee social marketing planning and concepting for organic channels, across SCL launches and business needs to create compelling marketing campaigns that highlight product features and benefits.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve company objectives and drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth.
- Define brand positioning, messaging and voice across all channels to ensure consistency and alignment with company values and objectives.
- Review all digital, print and video content for brand accuracy and marketing needs.
- Assist the photography team on shoots, take content, and help the team organize prior/post shoots.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and maintain timeliness and ensuring brand integrity across all touch points
- Partner with digital to oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, content creation, and traditional marketing channels.
- Provide feedback & workflow for Graphic Designers in order to create accurate assets
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
- Partner with digital to track and review the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Conduct brand audits and make recommendations for improvements to strengthen the brand’s market position.
- Set clear, measurable goals for all marketing activities, including brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Utilize customer data and analytics to gain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and buying patterns.
- Work with our external PR team to keep them up to date on SCL launches and happenings and provide them assets and details meeting their timelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the Direct to Customer industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and other online marketing techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and solutions.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Dash Hudson, Video Editing, Social Planning Tools preferred.
- Experience creating organic content preferred.
