Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Email Marketing Manager to lead and oversee our email marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and coordinating complex email marketing campaigns across various audiences, including B2B and B2C segments. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a sizable team and the ability to execute strategic campaigns that align with company objectives. The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for internal communications, client and prospect engagement, audience development, and the successful operation of our Inbox Advantage email marketing product.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of email marketing professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Coordinate team activities, assign tasks, and manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate execution of email campaigns.
Campaign Coordination & Execution:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of email marketing campaigns across various channels including internal company newsletters, external client/prospect newsletters, and homeowner audience development newsletters.
- Manage the full cycle of email campaigns, from strategy development to execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure alignment of email campaigns with overall marketing strategies and company goals.
B2B & B2C Marketing:
- Develop and manage B2B email campaigns targeting prospects and clients, promoting new products, services, and special promotions.
- Drive B2C audience development initiatives, focusing on engagement, retention, and growth of the homeowner audience.
Inbox Advantage Product Management:
- Oversee the management of the Inbox Advantage email marketing product, ensuring smooth operations and high client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the team to handle client orders, design and execute email campaigns, manage email lists, and ensure accurate and timely campaign deployment.
- Manage the scheduling and deployment of email campaigns, ensuring a strategic approach to maximize impact.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure all email campaigns are compliant with industry regulations and best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to align email marketing efforts with broader company initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in email marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing and executing complex email marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of email marketing platforms and tools, as well as best practices for email design, content, and deployment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the home improvement, publishing, or digital marketing industries.
- Familiarity with audience development strategies and tools.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
