Plant People is a company that creates practitioner-grade wellness supplements made from organic and functional ingredients such as mushrooms, hemp, adaptogens, and vitamins. Our products are doctor-formulated and free of parabens, sulfates, fragrances, and other harmful elements. Our supplements are currently sold at Whole Foods Markets, Sprout's, Erewhon, The Vitamin Shoppe and many other wellness boutiques.
The role is to spearhead our ecommerce growth (heavy subscription model) by building, guiding and strengthening paid acquisition channels in a disciplined, strategic and attentive way. The role is grounded in analytics and balanced with a creative lense. You will be the point person for providing the broader business with analytics related to the health of the online platform(s) and audience. You will report into our Marketing Director At Plant People, you have the opportunity to run with your work, test and make a direct impact on a rapidly scaling business. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day planning, execution, optimization and reporting of key full funnel paid media campaigns, leveraging internal data analysis and real-time market trends to achieve growth KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV).
- Primary channels include - Google (Search, Shopping), Facebook/IG, TikTok, Affiliate
- Test/Scalable channels include - Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube
- Manage six-figure monthly budget (forecasting 2-3X increased spend <18 months) with impeccable accuracy, identifying and bubbling up key growth strategies or channels to capture new customers or re-engage existing customers
- Continuously analyze campaigns, from ads to copy to landing page experience, and relay optimization opportunities to with internal and external creative stakeholdersOwn creative and copy pipeline for digital media assets (ads, landing pages)
- Obsessively monitor industry trends, from attribution changes to emerging platforms and everything in between, and own educating internal stakeholders
- Set relevant goals to meet overall channel revenue and performance targets; manage ongoing optimization of KPI's by designing comprehensive, measurable A/B testing methods
- Brainstorm, plan and execute CREATIVE content ripe for paid advertising and virality
- Develop and implement ongoing testing roadmap (creative, network, audience) that improves channel performance and align with the overall marketing strategies
- Partner cross-functionally with internal (creative, digital product, operations, CX) and external (agencies, platform account managers) stakeholders to continuously improve performance
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years hands on experience (in-house or agency-side) in DTC performance marketing
- Running ROAS/CAC KPI conversion campaigns on FB/IG and Google Ads is a must
- Exceptionally passionate about data flows and understanding “how things work”
- Comfortable with quantitative analysis, delivering actionable insights from Google Analytics, Ads Manager, Shopify to relevant team members
- Direct or tertiary experience across digital advertising landscape and knowledge of general best practices: paid social, programmatic, SEM, SEO, Affiliate etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to break down complex functions into digestible takeaways or next steps
- Collaborates and advocates for ideas while taking ownership and being a self-starter
- Curious and passionate about health and wellness, herbal modalities, climate and environment
