Job Description
The VP of Marketing is responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy and design concepts for Unitek Learning in support of the company’s vision and goals. Designs and produces all creative elements, analyzes marketing data and partners with ad agencies and vendors to support growth and visibility of the brand. Leads and directs staff as appropriate.
- Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to promote workforce development solutions to businesses and organizations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand client needs and market dynamics, informing the development of targeted marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth.
- Lead the development of marketing campaigns and materials tailored to B2B audiences, including digital content, thought leadership pieces, and case studies.
- Work closely with admissions and sales teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts, providing marketing collateral and resources as needed.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns, monitoring metrics such as website traffic, and conversion rates. Utilize data analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, optimizing strategies to maximize ROI.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in workforce development and B2B marketing, integrating insights into marketing strategies.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to prioritize high-impact initiatives and maximize results.
- Cultivate partnerships with client’s executive team, marketing leadership, and communications teams.
- Oversee brand management initiatives to ensure consistency and resonance across all marketing channels and materials for colleges and their partners.
- Drive content strategy development, creating compelling and informative content tailored to different audience segments.
- Partner with advertising agency counterparts to ensure collaborative and consistent brand execution; communicate work, share assets, and brainstorm concepts.
- Partner with advertising agency counterparts to ensure all project deadlines are met.
- Maintain the development and ongoing sustainment of the college catalog, Unitek Learning LinkedIn, Unitek Learning website, 10-20 partner microsites, 10-20 brandkits, merchandise and collateral kits, photos and videos in digital asset management, and event materials, and project plans for current and new partner developments.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the marketing team, encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing marketing practices in healthcare education.

Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of related experience
- 7+ years of direct leadership of a team
- Expert working knowledge of all Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe programs (Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional)
Preferred:
- Masters Degree preferred
- 5+ years of industry related experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft word press, Adobe LiveCycle and Dreamweaver programs
