The Marketing Data Operations Associate plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient management of Acxiom's audience distribution data practice. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of client first-party data assets, facilitating custom audience creation, and monitoring overall data utilization to support financial tracking. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external business teams, product managers, and ad operations to gather requirements, devise plans, and implement effective data strategies. Additionally, you'll oversee daily operations linked to data activation partners and establish processes for tracking client data utilization and monetization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with agency client teams and Data Strategy and Insights teams to assess, document, and clarify the data needs (both explicit and implicit) for audience creation and activation.
  • Serve as a liaison across teams to ensure strategic and technological alignment, maximizing the operational effectiveness and value of client data assets.
  • Monitor and report on client data intake and activation/syndication, along with addressing ad hoc data requests on a client-specific basis.
  • Engage with client strategists and activation partners to streamline audience utilization processes and reconcile related financial metrics.
  • Work in tandem with Product Management and Ad Operations to ensure that data pipelines are capable of efficiently activating client data and measuring KPIs.
  • Coordinate with Finance to accurately track and document data usage across agencies, facilitating effective communication and billing processes for all audience-related activities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital media planning or media analytics, with a solid understanding of DSPs, DMPs, trading desks, or addressable audience segmentation.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing new processes across various organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills to simplify complex procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, including skills in pivot tables and chart creation.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, with a knack for quickly learning and applying new concepts and tools.
