Job Summary

The VP of Events Strategy & Execution will support the Corporate Trust and Global Clearing marketing teams by shaping event strategy, elevating client-facing narratives, and driving the development of compelling event content across the U.S. and EMEA. This role blends strategic marketing, financial services insight, and hands-on execution, partnering closely with stakeholders, digital teams, and event operations to ensure events drive brand visibility, lead generation, and commercial outcomes.

This is a 12-month contract role with potential for conversion and requires 4 days onsite per week in Boston, MA, Pittsburgh, PA, Lake Mary, FL, or NYC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Content Development: Define event objectives, messaging, and narratives aligned to business goals; develop content for hosted events, webcasts, trade shows, and roundtables.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Corporate Trust and Clearing stakeholders to understand priorities, target audiences, and desired outcomes; translate business needs into event programs and materials.
  • Campaign & Thought Leadership Support: Contribute to broader marketing initiatives including campaign development, thought leadership, and integrated event-driven marketing motions.
  • Event Activation Planning: Define pre-event and post-event activation steps, including email invites, social promotion, follow-ups, and calls to action.
  • Execution Oversight: Support execution in partnership with the events operations team, ensuring content, materials, and messaging are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Performance Measurement: Work with digital and marketing teams to define KPIs, measure event success, and demonstrate commercial and brand impact.
  • Multi-Project Management: Manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously, balancing strategic work with executional needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with digital, events, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive delivery across channels.

Qualifications

  • 7–8+ years of overall marketing experience, with at least 2+ years focused on event strategy and execution.
  • Strong experience developing event content, messaging, and programs rather than purely logistical event planning.
  • Exposure to digital marketing channels supporting events (email, social, web).
  • Experience supporting lead-generation-focused events and referral-driven business models.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with marketing KPIs, performance measurement, and demonstrating business impact.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial services experience or strong intellectual curiosity for capital markets, securities, or investment-related topics.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting large-scale, high-investment events.
  • Background in financial services, capital markets, securities, investment banking, or related legal environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
