What is the Head of Product and Portfolio Marketing?

The Head of Product Marketing is responsible for defining, building, and scaling product marketing at Elementum. This role owns positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, and customer-facing narratives across the portfolio and verticals. This role is a newly established leadership position, created as part of Elementum’s next phase of growth under a new Chief Marketing Officer.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership, role with full ownership of the product marketing function. The role is accountable for defining the product marketing operating model, establishing GTM standards, and ensuring consistent execution across the product offering.

For at least the first year, you will personally do significant product marketing work while also laying the foundation for a world-class PMM function. As the company scales and in partnership with the executive team you will help define the product marketing org design, hiring plans of a small, high-impact product marketing team, and capability development.

Elementum runs an AI-first go-to-market motion, and this role is expected to lead accordingly. You will use AI extensively in your own daily work and design the product marketing function to operate faster, smarter, and more effectively through AI-driven workflows, tools, and processes.

You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate complex AI-driven technology into clear customer value, and to ensure Elementum wins in competitive enterprise deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Own product and portfolio positioning, messaging, and value propositions across key buyers and use cases.
  • Lead product launches and GTM readiness, partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Personally deliver core PMM assets (sales narratives, decks, competitive materials, website messaging).
  • Support enterprise sales with clear messaging, enablement, and deal-level support.
  • Operate product and portfolio marketing in an AI-first way, using AI daily to accelerate research, content creation, and iteration.
  • Build and scale a small, high-impact PMM team with AI-enabled workflows at the core.

Who You Are

  • A senior product marketing leader who has built and scaled PMM before.
  • Comfortable as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator.
  • Fluent in using AI in daily GTM and content work.
  • Strong at translating complex, technical platforms into clear customer value, with the ability to tailor and present that message effectively across user, leadership, and executive audiences.
  • Direct, pragmatic, and execution-oriented.
  • Excited to embrace our and grow our company values - pioneering, sure-footed, lighthearted, committed and relentless.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience.
  • Prior PMM leadership experience at a high-growth SaaS company where you directly supported the organization’s scale to $500M+ in ARR, navigating enterprise complexity along the way.
  • Proven ownership of positioning, messaging, launches, and sales enablement.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams and complex deals.
  • Strong personal proficiency with AI tools and workflows.
  • Willingness to personally execute core PMM work for at least the first year.

Competitive Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k matching
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Engage with (and give high-fives to) senior management regularly
  • Get in on the ground floor of a huge opportunity
