Social Media & Marketing Associate – Liquor Store

We are a busy, locally owned liquor store looking for a creative and reliable Social Media & Marketing Associate to manage and grow our online presence.

This role is hands-on and in-store focused. You’ll be creating real content—new arrivals, tastings, promotions—not generic posts.

Responsibilities

• Manage Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business posts
• Create short-form content (photos, reels, stories) in store
• Promote weekly specials, new products, tastings & events
• Respond to comments and messages professionally
• Coordinate with store manager on promotions
• Basic graphic design using Canva (or similar)
• Track engagement and suggest ideas to increase traffic

Requirements

• Must be 21+ (alcohol-related business)
• Experience managing social media for a business (preferred)
• Comfortable taking photos/videos in store
• Knowledge or interest in wine, spirits, or beer is a big plus
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Local to the area (on-site content required)

Nice to Have

• Experience with liquor stores, restaurants, or retail
• Influencer or content creation background
• Basic understanding of promotions and customer engagement
