Part-time Event Marketing Coordinator (Freelance/Remote)
Indoor Ag-ConIndoor Ag-Con is seeking a part-time Event Marketing Coordinator to support marketing and communications for two industry events:
- CEA Summit East — September 15–16, 2026
- Indoor Ag-Con — March 24–25, 2027
This role works directly with the Event Director to help execute marketing campaigns, manage speaker/exhibitor communications, and keep promotional projects on schedule.
The role is ideal for someone with practical marketing experience who enjoys event marketing and working with a small team to execute campaigns.
Duration: May 2026 – April 2027
Hours: Approximately 5–10 hours per week (may increase as events approach)
Location: Remote
Compensation: $30–$40 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Write, design, and schedule email campaigns (Constant Contact or similar platform)
- Manage creation and scheduling of social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X
- Create basic marketing graphics for digital and print promotion (social posts, email visuals, simple promotional graphics)
- Coordinate collection of speaker materials including bios, headshots, and session details
- Assist with scheduling and organizing speaker calls
- Help prepare conference slides and onsite presentation materials
- Support marketing initiatives promoting speakers, exhibitors, and event updates
- Provide general marketing coordination to help keep campaigns and deadlines on track Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, communications, or event marketing
- Experience building or managing email campaigns (Constant Contact, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
- Comfortable creating simple marketing graphics using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Experience supporting conferences, trade shows, or B2B events is strongly preferred. In cover letter please answer the following questions:
