The Associate Identity and Access Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's identity and access management program. The Identity & Access management specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the access rights and identities of both internal and external users within the organization. Primarily, responsibility resolves around creating accounts and working closely with IT and Cyber Security teams to understand the requirements of IAM in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and data of the organization, partners, and patients.

Responsibilities

â€¢Manage and perform account administration activities within the Identity and Access Management team, including account and access provisioning, terminations, and department transfers

â€¢Work closely with other IT and cybersecurity team members to deploy, operate, and maintain security controls to safeguard Millennium from disruption and protect patient data

â€¢Maintain security controls for access to Millennium's network resources. This includes removing access for urgent (involuntary) terminations, suspensions, and leave of absence

â€¢Enforcing company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.

â€¢Monitoring user activity in the identity and access management system.

â€¢Report on identity and access management system.

â€¢Maintain up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices

â€¢Documentation of the IAM process and procedures

â€¢Perform ticket management

â€¢Team player required: must interact with peers, management, and executives in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive patient and customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace

â€¢Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.

â€¢Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

â€¢Associate degree in information systems or a related healthcare field

â€¢1+ years of experience in identity and access management or a related field

â€¢Strong analytical skills

â€¢Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices

â€¢Knowledge of IAM software, such as Microsoft Active Directory

â€¢Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals

â€¢ Demonstrated technical proficiency in LDAP, SSO, SAML and MFA technologies

â€¢ Advanced experience with Active Directory and service provisioning

â€¢ Demonstrated skills in verbal communication and listening

â€¢ Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers

â€¢ Excellent writing skills

â€¢ A high level of integrity and trust

â€¢ Familiarity with health care, relevant legislation and standards for the protection of health information and patient security

â€¢ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
