Marketing Operations Specialist

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist who thinks like a builder and acts like a disruptor. This isn't a role for someone who maintains the status quo — it's for someone who sees marketing infrastructure as a competitive advantage and wants to shape how it evolves.

Reporting into Revenue Operations, you'll be a key contributor to the systems, data, and processes that power our demand generation, lifecycle, and campaign execution. You won't be operating in isolation — you'll be part of a collaborative MOPs function — but you'll bring real ownership to your work and be encouraged to be a strategic voice on how marketing should operate: questioning assumptions, identifying inefficiencies, and using AI to unlock new possibilities before they become industry standard.

You'll partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps leaders to ensure our marketing engine runs with precision and clarity. This role blends tactical execution with strategic influence — and the right person will know when to wear which hat.

What you will be doing

  • Optimize the marketing operations foundation. Lead lifecycle management, lead scoring and routing, nurture programs, and the integrations that connect marketing systems to Salesforce and across the GTM stack. Design these systems to scale, not just to function today.
  • Operate as a product manager for marketing infrastructure. Treat internal tools — including AI-powered marketing agents and custom communications platforms — as products with stakeholders, roadmaps, and outcomes to drive.
  • Support reporting and analytics. Partner with the MOPs team and analytics stakeholders to build and maintain reports and dashboards that track funnel performance, attribution, and campaign ROI. Contribute to funnel diagnostics and ad hoc analysis that helps marketing move smarter.
  • Champion data integrity. Monitor data flows between platforms, proactively resolve integrity issues, and ensure the data underlying our reporting is reliable and trustworthy.
  • Embed AI into how marketing works. Identify and implement opportunities for AI to improve targeting, content delivery, segmentation, and funnel velocity — not as an experiment, but as a core part of how we operate.
  • Enable campaign execution at scale. Build scalable program templates, manage campaign setup and QA, and create the infrastructure that lets marketing teams move fast without breaking things.
  • Drive Martech strategy. Lead tool evaluations and integrations with a clear-eyed view on ROI, complexity, and long-term fit. Push back when something adds noise instead of signal.
  • Be a connector across functions. Work with Sales, SDR, and Analytics teams to align on funnel definitions, routing SLAs, attribution methodology, and campaign performance — translating the technical into the strategic for any audience.
  • Uphold compliance and best practices. Champion database hygiene, segmentation rigor, and compliance standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA) without letting them become a bottleneck.

What you should have

  • Above all, we're looking for someone with genuine intellectual curiosity, a bias toward reinvention, and the business acumen to connect marketing operations to revenue outcomes.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in marketing operations, including end-to-end automation design, lead lifecycle management, and campaign operations.
  • A strong conceptual grasp of B2B SaaS marketing funnels — how MQLs become pipeline, how pipeline becomes revenue, and where the friction typically lives.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce required) and integrating marketing data across systems.
  • Comfort with data: building reports, interpreting funnel metrics, and turning analysis into action.
  • Experience applying AI or automation tools to real marketing problems — not just familiarity, but actual implementation.
  • Cross-functional instincts — you've worked closely with Sales, Marketing, and Ops teams and know how to earn trust across different functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can simplify complexity without losing accuracy.
  • A project management mindset that balances urgency with thoroughness.

What we hope you have

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or equivalent.
  • Intermediate+ SQL skills — you'll use them to pull data, build queries, and support reporting workflows; experience with analytics tools like Sigma, Looker, or Tableau is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Clay and Zapier, or similar data enrichment and workflow platforms.
  • Experience across channels including email, SMS, and in-app marketing.
  • Background in database management, email deliverability, or data privacy compliance.

Why you’ll love working here

  • We're building the marketing infrastructure that will carry us through the next phase of scale — and you'd be a key part of making that happen.
  • This is a team that believes in using data and AI to work differently.
  • You'll have meaningful ownership, real visibility, and strong partnerships across marketing, sales, and product.
  • The work you do here will be felt across the funnel, the company, and ultimately, the customer.
