Marketing & Business Development Project Coordinator
Location: Trumbull, Connecticut (Hybrid Work Flexibility)
Salary: $75,000-$90,000 (DOE)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Marketing, Business Development & Event Specialist to join our dynamic team at our Trumbull headquarters. This role will lead firm-wide event planning and support strategic marketing initiatives that enhance SDV’s visibility and reputation. You’ll work closely with attorneys, executive assistants, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences and impactful marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute firm events and industry conferences from start to finish.
- Calendar Management: Maintain an accurate schedule of all firm events and deadlines.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison with event organizations and vendors.
- Logistics & Budget Oversight: Manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, and event materials.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with attorneys, Executive/Administrative Assistants, Finance, Professional Development, and the MBD team to align event goals.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze event success and recommend improvements.
- Research & Strategy: Identify new event opportunities and speaking engagements to expand the firm’s visibility.
- Travel: Provide onsite support for select events, including setup and teardown (at least two major conferences per year outside of CT/NY Metro area).
- General Support: Assist with other marketing and business development projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an administrative assistant or coordinator (legal marketing experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management and marketing tools is a bonus.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to make decisions independently.
