Digital Marketing Audience Analyst

About the Role
Ulta Beauty operates one of the largest and most robust first-party datasets in retail, with over 40M active loyalty members. In this role, you will leverage this data to design, build, and activate custom audience segments that power high-performing retail media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Activation
- Build and activate custom audience segments across campaigns and channels
- Monitor performance and optimize segmentation to prevent audience fatigue
- Analyze customer journeys across digital and in-store touchpoints
- Translate insights into actionable audience strategies for future campaigns
Collaboration
- Partner with Audience Strategy, Product, Sales, and Account teams to align on campaign goals
- Translate business objectives into targeted audience parameters
- Work with external agencies and AdTech partners to balance reach and precision
- Manage audience workflows and delivery timelines using tools like Monday.com
Analysis & Optimization
- Leverage A/B testing, analytics, and consumer insights to refine targeting strategies
- Identify trends in eCommerce, consumer behavior, and retail media
- Recommend high-impact audience segments to maximize campaign performance and ROAS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Experience building custom audiences using first-party data
- Hands-on experience with AdTech and/or MarTech platforms
- Strong ability to translate business needs into audience segmentation strategies
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with audience segmentation tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
